Business to AVOID! I've bought my car from Bluewave Cars on 04/09/17, car being serviced (timebelt changed by Motor Maintenance Witham Ltd). Three days after I bought the car, I returned to Bluewave because of the smoke coming from under the bonnet. At that time, it was one of the injectors seal... so this was quickly fixed. Since then, for almost 15 months (20,000 mls) I had only problems with this car, including breaking down twice in Europe during 2018 summer holiday. The car had to be repatriated! Effectively, I used the car probably for only 12 months and during this time I had to change the steering pump, all 4 injectors the clutch and flying wheel, only to mention the most expensive parts and work.On 24/01/2019, at 105,000 miles I broke down again. Ive been told by Ford garage that the belt was gone and the engine was damaged, a new engine costing me 3k 4k. Further investigations showed that although the timing belt was changed when I bought the car, the wet belt was not replaced!

Upon visiting Bluewave Cars to purchase a used motor vehicle, I found the service to be appalling. The salesman was extremely rude and condescending towards my wife. Despite this, there was still a car I wanted to buy. At the end of the day I was there to buy a car, not employ a salesman, so took a view on his behaviour. However upon identifying a couple of issues with the car I wanted to buy, he fobbed me off and made out I was making it up to manipulate a discount. Ive been a mechanic for over 20 years, so I know that cream around the oil cap and oil in the water is a sign of head gasket issues. Also the oil was filthy, despite the fact it had apparently just had a full service. Avoid these cowboys at all costs. If there was an option to give zero stars I would have. Lucky I know what Im looking for, some poor customer could have purchased a condemned car without even knowing!! Shame on you Bluewave Cars!
