Poor service, negligence! Garage did not even know that my car had a wet belt to replace it!I've bought my car on 04/09/17, car being serviced by Motor Maintenance Witham Ltd, when the time belt was changed. Three days after I bought the car, I returned it because of the smoke coming from under the bonnet. At that time, it was one of the injectors seal, so this was quickly fixed. Since then, for almost 15 months (20,000 mls) I had only problems with this car, including breaking down twice in Europe during 2018 summer holiday. The car had to be repatriated! Effectively, I used the car probably for only 12 months and during this time I had to change the steering pump, all 4 injectors the clutch and flying wheel, only to mention the most expensive parts and work.On 24/01/2019, at 105,000 miles I broke down again. Ive been told by Ford garage that the belt was gone and the engine was damaged, a new engine costing me 3k 4k. Further investigations showed that although the timing belt was changed when I bought the car, the wet belt was not replaced by Motor Maintenance!
